Craving something sweet but feeling a little lazy? Also commonly known as pfannkuchen in german, they are easy to make in. Step 1, beat the eggs with the sugar.

The thin batter for these breakfast cakes is poured into a skillet and then baked in the oven.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c). As they bake they puff up like a souffle. Both have flour, egg and milk.

Step 5, pour enough of the pancake batter onto the skillet to cover the whole pan in a thin layer.


1 tablespoon white granulated sugar. 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt. Crepes are supposed to be very thin and floffy.

Step 3, beat until smooth.
